Hi Michael:
I wish to use the Bus Pirate as a JTAG adapter for an OpenRISC processor. I would be writing a new driver for this software (it’s all open source):
http://opencores.org/project,adv_debug_sys
Is there any documentation about the OpenOCD protocol on the Bus Pirate’s side? I heard the JTAG mode was removed, so I guess the existing documentation on this would not help.
I’m looking at buspirate.c in the OpenOCD project, but I was hoping I didn’t have to reverse-engineer the code. 8-)
I don’t know much about JTAG, any further hints would be appreciated.
You can drop me a line at rdiezmail-openrisc@yahoo.de
Many thanks in advance,
R. Riez
